My DIY Make A Wish/Take a Wish jars (UPDATED: w/ pics of finished product!- jars, wishes, poem, etc.)

I made 'make a wish' and 'take a wish' jars (I used apothecary jars). Blank cards for guests to fill out and leave for us in the the 'make a wish' jar and we printed our wishes for guests to take from the 'take a wish' jar.

UPDATE: I finished the set late last night. Another check off the list! Printed, measured, cut and folded a ton of 'wishes' (inspirational quotes for guests)... had major 'wish fatigue'! FH thankfully jumped in to help. I really should have invested in a darn paper cutter!

Added more pics.

First pic is the one I used for an example.

Not done yet...

Finished set!

Some of the wishes we wrote for guests to take from take a wish jar (with our monogram on the front -thx Ryan!

)

The poem (found the beginning part from another LIW bride, me and FH came up with the end part)

Stack of blank cards for guests to write us wishes on the back and put in make a wish jar

I decided to try to do one DIY project each day if I can...or to work on them a little each day.

Since Im on break from grad school til the 21st and FH works during the day, I have free time for a while, and lots of DIY stuff to do.

They have a ton at Michaels right now (theres like a whole aisle of beachy stuff...FH had to drag me out!) that I picked up but theyre a little different from the ones in the jars. Ma dukes picked those up for me so Im not sure, but I can ask.
