9/11 - 9 years later....NEVER FORGET!

9-11 9yrs later, So Bless NY's Finest, our Angels in Blue. Giving us hope and helping us through. Bless NY's Bravest, the FDNY. Giving their sweat, their tears and their lives. Bless all the medics and our troops overseas. Bless the guys in the hard-hats removing debris. Bless the everyday people who answered the call. Bless those who gave some and those who gave ALL!!!

A day i shall never ever forget! I was right in the thick of it. I saw things people should never have to witness. The fear, sadness & sheer terror in the eyes of fellow NYers. The lives lost, the people passing out, the people in state of shock that could not move. The people jumping from their windows. Images burned in my mind forever.

I SHALL NEVER FORGET!

My husband NYPD 2nd Grade Detective too was there. Not only for the day but for 2 months afterward cleaning debris & pulling body parts. He lost his cousin. One of The Bravest. FDNY. Through it all he kept his mind on trying to help others find their loved ones. Even if it meant having to give the terrible news of death.

I ask all of you to please not only remember this day. Remember what it stands for! Remember how NY banned together afterward. How great we are & how much better we can be.

I went out ot breakfast with my dad this morning and the owner stood up and had a moment of silence...i was in tears....it was just so moving. God bless everyone!
