Advertising on thank you?

Advertising on thank you?

So I get the proof for my thank you whih I loved. As I zoom into the pic on my phone I see the company name and number on the bottom left under one of the pics. I ask my photographer is it gunna be printed like that n he responds is that ok?

I tell him I would rather it not only because I would rather push your services (which I have been doing) by word of mouth and not on my thank you. Which he then responds....

Well if it's not there then it will be $75 to print them he is pruning ten on 4x6 photo paper, not even really a card and I have to buy my own envelopes. So I asked him wait if it's not there I hVe to pay? And he says if it is there then I incur the cost.

I replied stating I was under the impression of what is stated in the contract (which thank you cards are stated as included) and not what cost you incur and don't incur.

Ok so have any of you ladies had this put on your thank yous? Or is it normal for me to not want to advertise his business on my thank you card? If its in the contract can he even charge me extra?

never heard of that before - i think usually the company would put their logo on the back of the card as customary

Unless is some sort of new business I'm not sure why he would want to do that. I never heard of that before and honestly if thats the case your better off ordering them on a website like vista print for free.

Our photog had their logo on the back of ours. I wasn't too happy with that....thought it was an advertisement vs a thank you note

Yea agreed!!

Well I never got a chance to call him before he text me back saying they went to print without the logo.

So thank goodness! I have no problem advertising because I do love their work..but not on my thank you.
