AHHHHH rude\ comments vent

I finally told two coworkers that I'm pregnant just two days ago. They were very happy for me blah blah. But since then, they have been SUPER ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!

Today I walked up to them while they were chatting and one says to me 'you really look like a mom to be' to which I said, ' I hope not too much since it's still early' and the other one says 'You got wider. I think you'll carry wide.' and the other one responds, 'Yes, I think you'll carry in your hips.'

I couldn't believe it. I'm so self conscious as it is with my body changing without them looking me up and down and critiquing me! Now I know what other pregnant women complain about. People think they are free game for all their stupid comments!

vent over and now I feel like a cow

You could NEVER look like a cow. People are just really, really dumb. There's no other explanation for it but extreme stupidity.

thanks, that actually made me tear up a little ugh i'm trying to ignore comments like this but it's hard since I already have my own criticism and they just reinforce them. I'm never telling a pregnant lady anything other than she looks great

Annie - please - you are anything but a Cow, you don't even have a bell around your neck, so that automatically disqualifies you

women sometimes think they are making innocent comments but they come out hurtful - like your two co-workers. i'm sorry that they said insensitive things - just goes to show lack of common sense on their part. but don't let it get to you, just think, 7 months you'll have a little bundle of joy to hold in your arms!, your baby fat will drop off and they'll still have their love handles to grab onto

You do not look like a cow!!! Some people are insensitive and so rude it's rediculous!! Im at 5 months and someone at work today told me I waddle now when i walk. :( Im self conscious as it is after hearing that I waddled myself to the bathroom and cried a little.

You're BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! They're talking out of their asses..

1) Pregnancy is beautiful and however you carry is nobody's business but yours

2) They are jealous, women have to tear each other down for some reason

3) Everyone gets self conscience going through changes but this is a change that is worth it in the long run. I am sure you are glowing, don't let them dim your shine!
