Album Design

Has anyone gone without their husband to design their album? My photographer just told me to reserve 3 hours and I know that my husband who hates to look at pictures of himself will proabably go crazy for 3 hours. I'm think of takin my mom instead. is that wierd?

no... at least not to me... Shaun would never care about the album layout

It's actually to also pick the pictures! It sounds terrible but I think he just doesn't like to look at himself in pictures and would rather not pick them out!

DH is the same way. I'll probably be submitting our layout online, but if we had to go to a meeting for 3 hours, I'd definitely take my mom instead!

I SHOULD'VE left DH home Our appointment took 2 hours, and he kept going out to smoke. But I can't complain too much, he was pretty cooperative and he helped me pick out a couple of extra things that I had trouble deciding on.

Our photographer designed ours himself and sent us the PDF so we could accept or reject it as we liked and swap out pictures we liked better. It was great. The whole album was in our hands in about 6 weeks and looks wonderful!

We also got the rights and large files for all our photos and I've designed several more albums for family members myself. DH hasn't been involved in any of this, but he's really not interested. He does like the photos I chose to blow up and put around the house.
