Re: another vacation question
The one I booked for September is $2700 total for both of us and that's for 6 days, 5 nights including non-stop flights through Jet Blue. This is for Couples Swept Away.

Yupp, instead of. I would've liked to do both but no can do. Instead I think I'm just going to do open bar for a few friends.
I'm soooo excited for this trip though. When I'm bored or cranky I go to their website and just ogle the pictures.

Re: another vacation question
we've gone to Puerto Plata for SUPER cheap- its about the cheapest you can get. it can be ghetto but Iberostar's pretty nice.Punta cana is more expensive but gawgeous!
Jamaica can be a little cheaper than PC
My girlfriends and spent $700 on flight and a 4 day cruise to the bahamas (no drinks). that was as cheap as we could get with the time constraints we had.
Of course it depends on the flights and the quality of the hotel.
Sandals is $$$ but the one in the bahamas is the cheapest of all of them. Ithink antigua and st lucia are more money.

Re: another vacation question
It really depends on where you are going...it can vary. DR is very cheap and like Catey said, Puerto Plata is cheaper than Punta Cana. DH and I went to Puerto Plata in 2008...I got this crazy deal through Orbitz and used a coupon for $100 per person..it came out to $680 per person for airfare, hotel and everything else for 5 nights..and the hotel was actually nice and the food was good too (for an all inclusive). It wasn't a huge resort but clean and fine for what we expected. When we went to Punta Cana we paid around $1200 for 7 nights. It was alot more expensive..we were disappointed with the resort this time.A few girls on this site love Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico..I never went but came close to going but had to change plans..it's 5 stars, all inclusive but more $$...I think when I looked it was around $1300 for 4 nights.
HTH!

We did Couples Swept Away in March 2009 and paid about $2k for four nights--it was a wonderful trip! We booked through Liberty Travel, so cheap and easy.

You're going to LOVE it there! I told DH that's definitely a repeat trip before TTC.
We just booked 6 days/5 nights all inclusive at Secrets Silversands in Cancun with airfare (nonstop on JetBlue) for $2900.
