Anyone ever been to the DMV in Manhattan?

Is it nutso? Am I better off going to Garden City tomorrow?

I am finally going to change my license. 7 months later. not terrible.

Nah, its not bad. Ive been to the one all the way downtown. Its well organized.

I've been to the DMV 'express' and they were excellent there. I don't think they do name changes though.

I actually just did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. I went to the one in Manhattan in Herald Square. Got there around 12:30 and wasn't done until about 3:15. DH went to one in Queens (Jamaica I think) and was there for a good 2 and a half hours.
