Anyone get their rings soldered?
I'm thinking of doing this, as my e-ring keeps spinning. One of my friends got married on Sunday and she was talking about it right after the wedding! I was thinking maybe I would wait and see how it went and if she liked it I'd use her jeweler.Any advice or recommendations?
We got our rings from Brilliant Earth, a company based in San Francisco, and I wouldn't want to ship my rings all the way there to get this done.

Re: Anyone get their rings soldered?
before I got my e-ring re-mounted, our jeweler had soldered my e-ring and band together. The diamonds on my band used to 'cut into' the bottom prong and I was worried that it would eventually weaken it. Also, my center stone was always off center and this alleviated the problem. It worked out great, sometimes if my fingers were swollen it was harder to get the rings on and off. But now that I have a new ring I wouldn't join them since I sometimes wear them on different hands.ETA - my jeweler did this for me at no cost. It only took 5 minutes. and it was just as easy to disconnect them later on. Keep in mind that if your rings are white gold, then the metal will yellow from the heat and will need to be rhodium-ed

Re: Anyone get their rings soldered?
my ering and wedding band are soddered together and I am so happy I did it but they can be taken apart if you decided that you didn't like it for some reason...the jeweler could always seperate them again
