Re: Anyone Hosting Thanksgiving??

I think we are going to host the holidays this year, we don't wanna split up our first married holidays, you know? Unfortunately, I'm NO help to you with the home blogs, I doubt we will even be going all out like that, although it sounds super cute!

Re: Anyone Hosting Thanksgiving??

I am! In my new home!

Hopefully if I'm not too sore, the baby is due on the 15th of November. I wouldn't have to do much because it's only for 6 people - so just turkey, stuffing, yams, bread, green beans, and I'm sure dessert will be taken care of.

Oh, and on my china that I got a year ago that I can finally open!!! :)

Oh, here's a site I started reading when I googled ideas:
Thanksgiving

ITA!

We're not hosting this year... our place is way too tiny...but DH wants it to be 'our' holiday to host when we do have one (given it's right around our anniversary!)

Re: Anyone Hosting Thanksgiving??

We are hosting Thanksgiving and we live in Washington, DC. So, not only will we have people here on Thanksgiving day but also for two or more days. So, I am already planning for everything. We have to get like 5 air mattresses. Also, we need to fix the basement, paint the house, and buy new furniture (at least a dining room set and a sectional). Trust me, it will be at least 15 people at my house for those days. I was thinking of opening my china, but for all those people, maybe just paper plates will do it.
