Anyone know of anyone who is willing to donate winter coats for a 7, 5 and 2 year old?

A friend of mine is going through a really hard time right now, and while I've done as much as I can financially for her, and her children, she just came to me saying how the kids don't have any winter coats, and she's dressing them in sweatshirts.

If you know of anyone who can donate any winter clothing for a 7 and 5 year old girls, and 2 year old boy, I'd sincerely appreciate it.

The girls are all true to size, and the boy is 24 mon- 2T.

Please FM me, and I'll set up a time to come meet up with you.

Thanks ladies!!!

Did you check New York Cares? They have a coat drive every year.

Re: Anyone know of anyone who is willing to donate winter coats for a 7, 5 and 2 year old?

Thanks ladies!!

I posted on LIF as well, and received a ton of FMs about people asking to donte. These kids are each going to have a new wardrobe, along with shoes, toys and books. It's wonderful how many caring people there are around here.

Regarding the PayPal acct- I think that is such a terrific idea, but I'm not sure how she is going to respond to it. I feel she may be embarrassed and it may open up a can of worms. She's a sensitive person, and is very concerned about how she is perceived by people. She doesnt even know I posted online asking for donations, so I'm afraid of how she is going to react. In a perfect world, she would consider it a blessing that so many people are willing to help out, but her pride gets the best of her- which is why she is in this situation in the first place.

I'm going to speak with her her cousin and see what she thinks. I really appreciate the generosity and selflessness you all have

Re: Anyone know of anyone who is willing to donate winter coats for a 7, 5 and 2 year old?

It's suppose to get really cold tomorrow. I would suggest as an immediate idea to go to a local church while waiting for the donations from LIF to come. there were a ton of coat drives going on in December and most of the churches always have coats
They probably won't be new but at least they wll have a coat to wear tomorrow when it is super cold out.

otherwise if you're going to set up a paypal please let me know, here on LIF or FB as I would love to donate something.
