Argentina!!

DH and I just booked flights to Argentina in December!!!! We are only going for 11 days so need to figure out where to go and looking for suggestions. Anyone have any insight on 'must go' places?

On our radar:

Buenos Aires (definite)
Bariloche (glaciers)
Patagonia
Salta
Mendoza (wine country)
or beaches in Uruguay

My friend and her boyfriend have visited numerous times and I just found out they are MOVING down there to BA. I cna make an email intro if you'd like.....

i researched an argentina trip and had decided to go to bariloche and BA. i thought you couldnt miss the glaciers. DH had wanted to do mendoza but i could've done without it since ive been to wine countries all over, no big deal. Also the crappy thing is you need to fly everywhere since they dont have a good train system and everything is so far. Enjoy !!!!!

eta we wended up not going because DH only had 1 week in February to go and it wasnt going to be enough time.

Yea, we are now heavily considering Bariloche, BA, and Uruguay. I guess now I need to start looking for hotel recs!
