Last night my old apt (which happens to be in a small building that my father owns) was burglarized.

The thieves took laptops, cameras, jewelry and watches...all about $30,000

Everyone that rents should have renter's insurance! it's very affordable, I used to pay abt $15 per month. Unfortunately, our tenants dont have renter's insurance and this is a pretty big loss for them.

Please take my advice and get renter's insurance ASAP

Yes, very important! Our place actually makes us show proof of renter's insurance. So sorry to hear about your old place.

very true..we've had it since we moved into our apt and i pay 26 and change per month. def worth it, although we've had no problems.
