Bad Experiences

Have you ever had one that completely colored your experiences and no matter what othe rpeople say or do, will never change your opinion about this someone/someplace/something?

For me, its two things.
the first is the town of Westchester - in general, lol. Broad I know, but my ex-FH lived there and i literally can't stand him or his family so i have a eneral dislike for the whole town.

second - its CLM - not to offend, but been to this place several times now and hated every single one.

And as weird as it sounds, the color Maroon.

I had an ex bf who was a psycho stalking crazy PIA. Maroon was his favorite color. he had several maroon clothing that he'd always wear and i had a sweatshirt of his that was maroon. No coincidence that maroon is so close to Moron.

for this reason, I never, ever buy a piece of clothing for DH that is maroon. I would never buy a car that is maroon. I just do not like it and probably never will again. I've been scarred

Freeport, Maine

I went to to school at University of Maine in Orono....

First time I went there was in college and on the way home we got stuck in traffic, causing me to be late to meet my boyfriend at the time. He went to the party without me and cheated on. This was my first relationship outside of high school so I was devastated.

Second time I went there, I flew in to Portland Maine after a Christmas vacation and my then boyfriend picked me up with his new girlfriend. Oh yeah he never broke up with me, just brought her along as a very loud hint! Then we went to Freeport Maine to shop at LL bean. Needless to say, it was a pretty messed up day. If there was any other way to gt from Portland to Orono, I so would have just left on my own.

Third time was after I transferred to RIT and we went there to play USM in Porland. We took a trip to Freeport for shopping and I lost my purse, which ended with many purchases on my credit cards!!!

So yeah, I absolutely despise the place, and unfortunately LL bean just for being there!!!

Connecticut. For no good reason at all. I just don't like Connecticut or people from there. No offense if you're from there I just have a general dislike for the state

i saw your post about this on LIF - but i don't remember you saying anything about RK Bridal, what happened there?

Red heads...no offense to red heads but my ex best friend was a red head and she and my ex bf wound up together getting married and having babies...all behind my back...so once someone said my hair was red I died it black so there was no mistaking it anymore!! Lol

I do have a few red headed friends now who I love and my Littlest niece is a total ginger ... So maybe this hatred is fading...
