it's tough trying new things but Indian food is so delish, you don't have to worry about it. i'll let you know about any good buffets or non buffets in jackson heights when i find out!

and if you want to try ethiopian, i only know of a couple in the city. i don't know of any in queens currently

the one I tried was in DC and it was so expensive for the amount of food! Like fancy ethiopian, I guess.

I like trying the food when it's a legit mom and pop place where it's no frills but authentic.

I would try ethiopian again if it was a place liek that

Anney - Filipino restaurant - I got the name for you

It's called Payag Restaurant on Roosevelt Ave, corner of 52nd street in woodside. The owner is a friend of my FIL's named Reina. Food is excellent.

is that the one with the bakery downstairs????

also, for any girls wanting to try some good thai food, there's a restaurant in Woodside called Sripraphai that has been consistently been called the best thai in NY. they opened another location in New Hyde Park. it's really delicious.
