Bora Bora and Moorea Honeymooners

Hi Newlyweds! I'm sorry for crashing your boards but I was wondering if those of you that honeymooned in the south pacific had any reviews for your hotels. Specifically we have quotes for the Hilton at both Bora Bora and Moorea, and also St. Regis in Bora Bora. (Its about 2K difference in price for St. Regis so wondering if its worth it) Any other hotel recommendations and excursion recommendations would be appreciated. In the meantime I'll continue the research! Thanks in advance!

I stayed at the Intercontinental La Moana in Bora Bora. It was a beautiful hotel and we had the hut allllll the way at the end of the dock. INCREDIBLE!

It was the sister property to the Intercontinental Thalasso which was across the way by a short boat ride which the hotel supplied. The Thalasso was a nicer property, but we were able to use all of their amenities anyway, so we were happy that we got the better deal since the Thalasso was more expensive.

We met people who stayed at the St. Regis and they seemed like they were happy there, but it was VERY expensive.

Look into both Intercontinental properties, I think you may get a better deal and the same experience, if not better.
