Connecticut girls...

Can anyone recommend a cheap hotel to stay in that's in or around New Haven? My sister, bff and I are going there for a concert in October and want to make it an overnight trip. I found a decent on in Orange which is 13 minutes away. Is Orange a good area to stay? TIA!!

Re: Connecticut girls...

Orange is a nice area, not much around, only drawback is its not close to the highway, you will probably take back roads into the city. New Haven has only one nice hotel, its the Omni, it's pricey. You can also stay in branford, there is a Holiday Inn Express which is brand new. It's about 8 miles from New Haven. Another good area is Milford, its very close to 95 and the mall is there so you have something to do in your off time. HTH!

Re: Connecticut girls...

I stayed at the Branford Holiday Inn for a family event back in June and it was great!
