cooking for a large crowd
DH and I are renting a cabin with a bunch of our friends in a a couple of weekends. We will probably be grilling a lot but what are some meals that I can prepare? I don't want to be in the kitchen the whole time so I'm thinking of meals such as lasagna that I can prep and just throw in the oven. Side dishes/entrees recommendations? The last time we did this I made ropa vieja, rice & beans. I also made cookie dough before hand so we just had to bake them there.

Bring a crockpot if you can. You can do stews, sauce, sausage and peppers and leave it in there all day.
