Did guests give you copies of the pics they took at your wedding?

I am arranging some of the guest's pics to put them in an album.

The irony- only 2 members of the bridal party gave us copies of their pics. But, one guest (a last minute invite, whom we FORGOT to invite) took amost 100 pics, and put them in a really nice album and shipped it to us!!

eta: I had one guest bug the hell out of me because she wanted a copy of a pic that my MOH took of her and her then-fiance. They never gave us copies of any of the pics they took at our wedding. They just got married, so we emailed them a copy of our digital pics. Now, I feel like saying 'so, can I have a copy of the pic that your cousin took of me and my DH?'

My SIL gave us her pics. She burned them on CD for us and left the CD in our house so we had pics as soon as we got back from the HM.

One of the BMs also had a digital camera and she sent them to us.

One of my guests took a pic of us at the church, printed it out and somehow had it framed and handed it to us as we got into our limo leaving the church (don't ask!!)

BUT.... I don't have ONE SINGLE picture from my bridal shower. Not one. None of my guests have ever sent me a single pic!

I actually had my camera, and 3 spare rolls of film with me. My shower was a complete surprise, but I told my DH in advance to make sure that we had my camera and extra film because I wanted to make sure I had shower pics.

Yes, some of them did. (And I also had tons of pictures from the table cameras.)

One of my dad's friend made a whole cd of our day with music in the background. It was GREAT!!!!

2 of my camers were missing, thought someone took them to develop them for me, but nope, they took them home, and I dont know what table it was

We got alot of copies of pictures from guests both on film & on CD.

We also had 20 table camera that we had pics from. (10 color & 10 B&W)

ETA: I luckily got every one of them back. I gave my daughter (one of my BM) the job of making sure they all got finished & brought home & she dropped them off to be developed so they were ready when we got home from our HM.

My neighbor took the table camera home because some of the pictures are of people that she hasn't seen in a while...

HELLO??? They're my cameras!!! I still haven't gotten it back, that was three years ago...I'll consider it gone.

We also got pictures from people. Some people who only came to church sent us their pictures in the mail.

I always try and send the couple whatever pictures I took. I know I'd love to have them so why wouldn't I pass them on.

My shower was videotaped with the camcorder that was given to us, so I have the whole thing on tape. My shower guests also gave me a ton of pics that were taken.

Same here. I told DH next time we need a photographer, I am inviting his cousin with her automatic 35mm camera. She took great photos! Many people sent me photos, and some even gave me the negatives, which was really nice.

Some of the LIW gals did & my sister did who had taken a few when we were getting ready. I had one cousin who took pics and mailed the copies to my mom - but my mom still hasnt turned those over.. I guess they are hers!

Dh's aunt made a cd for MIL, but not for us. I thought that was weird, but we made a copy of it.
DH had to ask though, it wanst' offered to us, & those ar ethe only pics we have of DH & the groomsmen before the ceremony.

It took a while though, I was disapoitned that in the wait for the proofs, I didn't have any amateur pictures for a while.

My aunt, MOH & a friend sent us digital pictures & a few of my friends/coworkers eventually sent us pictures.

No ine on his side did,, except that aunt.

His PARENTS even have doubles & we asked if we could have them, they said they have to make sure they really do have doubles of everything & MIl was evenkind of surprised they wanted them.
She didnt' knwo why FIL took a bunch of pictures of peopel he didnt' kow.

Umm, to give us maybe? They are stills ittignon teh guest bed. I am goign to try& get DH to get them this week, b/c I want to finsh our amateur album.

Some guests were generous and kind to give us copies of pics they took of us. Many were not kind or generous as proof shows that I've bought 15 disposable cameras and only 13 were returned to us.

I had a couple of guests send us digital pics, and my mom's friend did give me a copy of the couple she took. One of my BM gave me the negatives to her pictures. You think the least she could have done is make me a copy, especially when she made duplicates for two other of the BM. Oh and did I mention that this was also the BM who gave us $50 as a wedding gift?!

Some people gave us copies or sent us the digitals, others did not. We only asked a few other people for copies (or digitals) because we know they are great photographers.

My mom went nuts with that! SHe seriously went through pics other guest gave us to look for other people who had cameras so she could call them and ask for their pics. It was pretty funny watching her scan the background of every pic to see who had cameras!

Alot of family member took pics and gave them to me. My aunt took so many beautiful shoots and araranged theminto a nice album. It was beautiful!

One of my friends gave me the doubles of hers as soon as I got back from my HM. I was thrilled. Another friends husband it a professional photographer and I haven't even seen his pictures yet. She says he took them all of his daughter, my flower girl.

My MIL's friend took tons. In fact she followed my photographer around, stood in the back ground and took all the portraits he did. Then she went table to table and took group shots. Before we got back from the HM, she already had given my MIL an album full of the pictures. I didn't get any. I was a little annoyed, because there were certain pictures I was going to have enlarged for MIL but she already has them now
