Everytime I look at my proofs I get upset

I had a disgusting, humid day and I spent so much time fixing myself we lost so much picture time and I feel like I don't have as many pics of me and DH as I should And then I hardly have any good ones of us together showing my full dress with my train out. Ugh, I'm so upset!

I'm sorry you aren't happy with all of your pics. Maybe since its pics of you and your DH, you could do an 'after shoot' and before you get the dress messy, ask the photog to take a few extras. I know its not the same but it might help.

No, he gave us them all. There were about 750 and although there are pics of DH and I, there aren't a lot of posed pics. I don't know what he was thinking worrying about all these family shots when he didn't even have many of us I know it was hot and I wasn't very cooperative, but as a photographer I would think he would've noticed and focused on getting those Just annoyed

I feel the EXACT same way ! Totally upset and feel I dont have enough pics of me with my train spread out, me alone, and not enough of DH and I alone..... the pics that I do have in those poses, I dont like.

This is why I am really considering doing day after pics/ ttd. I am not looking to trash my dress at all but I want more pics of DH and I alone.

I hate hearing your unhappy with your proofs...the pics I've seen of you look so amazing. You honestly were such a gorgeous bride. I'm so sorry to hear this.

sorry! maybe u can do a trash the dress shoot, a day after shoot, or something else to compensate

I definitely agree about doing a day after shoot. You don't HAVE to ruin your dress!! And even though I tried to ruin mine, it's still in great condition. You can take them at like Old Westbury Gardens or in the city, Central Park. You could do a really unique location like the NY Public Library or the Central Park Zoo or something fun!

Thanks girls. The chances of me actually getting my makeup/hair done and getting back into my dress for day after shots are slim to none. There's just something about it being on that day that you can never get back. I'll just have to work with what I have and hope I can make a great album. My sister claims the wedding pics get thrown to the side and the album goes away once you have kids anyway And thanks Colleen....that was really a sweet comment. We're always our own worst critics, but I really did feel disgusting that day!
