Feeding your Vendors?

Hi Ladies!!!!

first and foremost...Congratulations!!!! wish you all lots of love and happiness!!!

i wanted to know if you could give me some advice or some insight regarding feeding your vendors at your RH? My RH advised me that I have the choice of feeding the vendors...(DJ, Photog, Video,etc)....can you please share if you did this? or not? or what you would recommend? I dont mind feeding them but it is extra $$ and not sure if this is customary since they are suppose to be working? i dont know....need your advice please

Well, my venue had provided my DJ, so THEY fed them, find out if your venue provided vendors, they should do this. I only had to feed my photographers, which i think every bride does. HTH.

I fed them..its the right thing to do. I really didnt even think about not feeding them.

A fed vendor is a happy vendor...a happy vendor is what you want!

I fed them - also my RH only charged 1/2 for each vendor. Check and see if your RH does this.

We fed them - it was only in the contract for the photographers/videographer that we had to feed them. Check your contract before you make any decisions.

I think it is customary and some of your vendors may expect to be fed / it maybe in their contracts. I know it was for ours. It's a long day for them too, I think it is the right thing to do. Usually good RHs will only charge 1/2 for vendor meals.

i fed them

my doc's photo and video were with me for so long. how could i not feed them

We fed them. I know how my work suffers when I get pretty hungry so...yeah. Didn't want that to happen with the folks we hired.

It said in my band contract that we had to feed them. As for photo/video we used a family friend so we didn't mind feeding them. We ended up being below our guarantee so the vendors where counted in to meet our guaranteed guest number.

I have a question...
IF you Feed them, Werent you scared the photographer Was not there to take Pictures? Or the Videographer?

I mean I guess they sit down & eat right?

What if at that moment Something 'cute, funny, great' happens & BOOM the Photographer Missed it bc he/she was eating?....
