First Date Anniversary

5 years ago today DH and I went on our first date which was Dave N Busters. Since then, not a day went by without speaking to each other. I remember coming home and wondering when iwas going to see him next (hoping he wanted to see me again!).

So, just curious to know where everyone's official first dates were? After it was over, did you know you'd see each other again or did you think it didn't go well in your opinion?

ours was i think 12/18/00 it was a blind date to a christmas party for the bethpage country club.
we didnt officialy start dating until 1/6/01

Our first date was 8/11/05. We were working together at the time and had been working together for 2 years so I obviously knew I'd see him again (at work) but I was really hoping we'd see each other (as in dating) for a long time...turns out we did (obviously)!

ETA- We went to see a movie in the city after work (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and then we went to a restaurant in Hell's Kitchen..La Cascina Ristorante.

our first date was at Dave n Busters too!!!!!

we met on eHarmony...had our first date July 19th 2008 (so our first date anniversary is coming up too!)

after DnB we didn't want the date to end...so we wound up hanging out at a marina by my house all night talking....our first date lasted 7 hours! and we only left cause i hadda pee LOL

he asked me out for the next night before we left....we've been together ever since :)

our first date was at a coffee house, but it was kind of a 'tester date' to see if we liked each other . it was a lot of fun though!

Our first official date was at this seafood restaurant in Port Jeff on 01/06/07 but we had been spending all of our time together already before that, so we knew we'd be seeing each other after that lol and we became an official couple on the 14th. We were best friends before dating so I was afraid it'd be awkward going on an actual date but it felt so natural.

Our first date was 12/18/99. We met at TGI Friday's in Rockville Centre for dinner then went to play pool at River City pool hall (no longer exists). I thought he was sweet but a little strange; he hated me and wanted to date my friend.

Hmmm, I don't remember our actual first date date, but I believe that it was a Tuesday in August five years ago.

our first date was 6.6.03 and we went to the midnight showing of 2 fast, 2 furious. and i had my SATs the next morning, and I was late for them, bc i stayed out too late!!

Dh and I were childhood friends then best friends so I knew if the date didn't work out I would still have him in my life cause he was my best friend....anyway he took me to see the most romantic movie ever.....freddy got fingered...seriously

Our's was 10/22/04...but we didn't really go out until almost midnight so we fought for years over whether our anniversary was 10/22 or 10/23 LOL

We went bar-hopping in Williamsburg.

I knew I'd see him again because I brought him back to my apartment and had my way with him.

I called him the next day to thank him for the date, and we went on our second date the week after - alone, without friends

it was starbucks! and than a movie...Gone in 60 seconds.... i was soo nervous at the movies! ...i was just quite and didnt talk a lot...lol he thought i was boring ....

but than we hung out a few times later...and really hit it off!

first date i didnt realize was a date. i thought we were just hanging out, so i dont even know the date. but we went to vincent's clam bar and then strike.

second date (official date) we went for japanese food in queens and then a mets game at shea with my friend. that night we kissed (the way i knew it wasnt just hanging out as friends! ). that was aug 6, 2006. anni coming soon

May 1st, 2005!! Geez that was a long time ago!! Though I wouldn't call it a first date since we were such close friends and it just kinda happened but it was our first smooch.

our first date was for dinner at Cozymel's in March 2007.. it was our first time seeing each other in person too since we met online. i thought the date went really well and i drove home with a huge smile on my face. when i got home i had a text from my DH saying 'so when do i get to see that smile again?'... and we've been hanging out ever since lol.
