For the ladies who did b-pics help!!

Hey ladies, so I am not sure what to do, basically I booked Jenerations 'The Flirt' package which comes with all the bells and wistles. But with hair and make up included I will be spending close to $800. I mean I dont mind spending that money but Idk if FH would want me to spend that!

Which package did you girls choose for those of you doing it? Should I just go with the larger package or downgrade 1 package (which basically has no album just 5 photos edited & airbrushed, but I can get my own album and put them in it.)

Do you look back on your pics all the time? IWas it worth it to you to spend the extra $$??

I did 'The Bombshell' (with a b-party group) - not sure if that one is offered on its own.

It was $400 - 3 outfits/scenes, and one 5x7 album with 20 photos, plus hair and makeup (cost extra) on top of that. I know the rumor was that she was easing up on b-parties until next year, so I'm not sure if that's something you can take part in.

Ultimately it was worth it! DH loved it and told me that he sneaks a peek at the photos in the album all the time If you get to make your own album, that would be great, but even if you just get a few photos, I'm sure your DH will love it.

i don't remember what my package was called but i got 40 edited pictures and 4 outfit changes. i also added makeup, but not hair.
i didn't get an album - i had one made on shutterfly.
i certainly don't look at the album every day and DH will take it out every once in a while to look at it.
I think I spent close to $600 on my package.

My package including many outfit change & the CD with edited images was LESS than $400 when i booked it....


Make up & Hair? Done by myself and it came out gorgeouis!!!

I coudlnt imagine paying $800 and I am More than sure my FH would be Mad if i would had paid $800 for semi naked pics of me.

i don't know what the package was called but i did it earlier this year with 3 other girls and this is what we got

$300
Includes...
~3 outfit changes
~Minimum of 4 girls
~It includes editing and airbrushing of 20 photos per girl. In addition I will email you the hi-res jpg files of the edited photos
~5x7 leatherbound album that will hold 20 5x7 prints

I did my own hair but got my MU done there for i think $80?

we booked it in 2010 and i'm pretty sure the packages are different now though

I did a b-party with 2011 brides last October. The packages were very different then than they are now. Honestly, $800 is an absurd amount of money for boudoir photos. I mean, the bells and whistles are nice and all, but that's crazy expensive.

My shoot was $300 included 1 hour shoot, 3 outfits, and a small album with 20 edited photos. Make-up was an extra $90 pp since we all opted to do it. My hair I did at home myself- or rather my sister did it for me.

Personally, I never go back and look at my photo album. But, I know DH does sometimes. I think it's worth it to get an album, but maybe not through Jenerations. And trust me, I feel bad saying that! I love Jenerations and her albums are beautiful, but that's a LOT of money.

Jenerations is absolutely amazing! I love her work, and I think she is the best ... that being said, I'm not so sure I can justify spending so much money with her again ... I would probably, if anything, do a group thing where it's cheaper for everyone.

I never did it because I was just too shy and insecure. Not to mention, I'd have a terrible time at picking out something to wear.


I did, however, really want to do them... but at 800 - hell no... this girl will have a mortgage.

I did it for DH - part of a party so the rates were cheaper. i dont recall how much it cost (i got 3 outfit changes and an album) and i had to pay for makeup. When i first got it, i loved it. makes you feel beautiful and wonderful. however once that wore off (after a week of looking at it) i never look at it anymore and DH looks at it maybe once a month (or once every other month). get the 5 pics and put them in an album or something. thats all you really need ( i will also say i had a hard time picking enough photos to fill my album - there were only a few i loved and the rest i just put in there bc i paid for an album already)

I feel the same way. I did it without a party and had 3 outfit changes + the free book + paid for the cd. Meanwhile my cd has the same 20 or 25 pics and half the pics are the SAME ones just in black and white. are you kidding me?? Im going to make a calendar but the pics are the same woopie how exciting. Try and find someone else who gives you more then 20 pics for that outrageous price. Also my makeup ****** It looked like my face was so plain looking. I wish i had time for Lolalovesmakeup to do it. And my hair looked like i had a big ball of hairspray.

Honestly I would do it again and again and again! It is not just about the pictures its about the experience and how it makes you feel. Jen is totally worth the money. I had such an amazing experience.
