framed canvas?

framed canvas?

as you may remember, DH and I got MIL and GrandMIL canvases for mother's day.

When i gave it to MIL, she said she was going to frame it and hang it .... but really? framing a canvas? am i the only one who thought that was a weird thing to do?

oh, and niether MIL or GrandMIL were all that grateful about their canvases ... they both asked to have the original pic emailed to them so they could print the photo and frame it.

i love the in-laws

This is why my ILs are just getting GCs from here on out. We bought them a digital frame and loaded our e-pics, wedding pics and TTD pics in to it for them and they have already replaced our photos with photos of BIL's kid.

This is why my ILs are just getting GCs from here on out. We bought them a digital frame and loaded our e-pics, wedding pics and TTD pics in to it for them and they have already replaced our photos with photos of BIL's kid.

I do think a frame defeats the purpose of a canvas! But it sounds like she was more confused as opposed to being difficult.

possibly ... but i tried telling her that it's a canvas print so she can just hang it up as-is .... she said she wants it framed anyway ... as long as i'm not paying for it, i don't really care
