ghosts
My grandfather passed away a few years ago ... but we think he's 'haunting' us ... he goes back and forth from my apt to my mom's house.Yesterday morning, i went to grab my tweezers in the morning and they were not there ... i asked DH and he said he hadn't touched them. I ignore it and go to work. Later that night, DH was walking to the bathroom ... i told him 'hey, check if my grandfather returned the tweezers' ... he looked and voila - they were there!
now, it's not like they were inside a bag or whatnot and i just didn't see them ... they usually sit right on the shelf in my bathroom's medicine cabinet!
Even weirder is that this is the 2nd time it's happened (but last time, DH and I thought we were just being stupid and misplaced the tweezers or whatnot).
Weird huh?
How bout you gals? any ghost stories?

Re: ghosts
No ghost stories, but 100% have seen the 'orb' of relatives who have passed away in photos. It freaks me out, but it's kind of cool to think that they might've been there at that moment.

Re: ghosts
My Siblings and I swear my mom's old house was full of a few ghosts! We'd here walking upstairs when all 5 of us were sitting at the dinner table... odd sounds where no one was. I always thought it was a comfort. When I moved out - I invited all the Ghosts that were in my moms house to come with me!!About 6 months after my Gma passed - I had a a ghost experience...
When I'm sick - I'm such a baby - especially back then - all I want is my Mom, and her tea and toast. She always puts her hand on the back of my neck to feel for a fever (as she swears that's the only way to tell with me).
Well, she was upstate for the summer, and I'm lying in bed sick as a dog...moaning like an idiot that 'i think i have a fever'. And I felt a hand on the back of my neck. It immediately calmed me down and being I was alone in the house - I knew it was my Gma, as she was the only other person who did that to me.

Re: ghosts
There's something where we live but I don't know who or what. I say who or what cause it could possibly be the spirit of a dead pet.DH and I live on the first floor of the house my grandparents used to live (grandfather passed in 93 and grandmother is in a nursing home). I swear there's something/someone who just likes to taunt our pets. My cat one time was eating his food in the basement while I was doing laundry and out of nowhere just took off running upstairs. Every now and then Potter will start running towards nothing and stop like he wants to play.
DH and I haven't seen/felt anything though.

Re: ghosts
This always freaks me out.My father & grandmother has visited my sister numerous times. He came to me once and only once because at that exact moment I closed my eyes and asked him to leave. Said I miss you and love you but only come to me in my dreams and thankfully, he listened.
In my family between my mother, grandmother, sister, brother, etc. we've all seen someone. Physically in the room, or in the TV, or feeling a breeze and seeing curtains move or pocket books swinging on the door nob with no window or door open. My brother came running out of his room one morning because he said my father grabbed his arm and pulled him out of bed saying John, Get up!
Still freaks me out.

They say that pets can see ghosts, even if we can't.
They say babies can also see them... i wonder if it's true

Re: ghosts
Babies can TOTALLY SEE THEM!My nephew used to stare at nothing and go hysterical laughing and looked like he was watching 'Someone'. My sister would say I bet it's daddy playing with him. So we decided to test it out. We showed him a photo album of all of us. Pointing at people asking him who they were. And there he was.. Mommy, Daddy, MeeMee (that's me)
He named all the pictures, then we got to one of my father with my mother. He pointed at my father laughing and said Poppy. He never met him. My father died 3 years before he was born.

Re: ghosts
Oh boy... I have so many. I've been to two mediums, and both have told me incredible details about passed relatives. During one of the sessions, I felt someone brush my arm. Immediately after that, the medium said 'They told me that you're going to feel them too. I don't know how, but you will.' A bit later, I felt a brush across my arm from left to right. Right after that, the medium said 'Your Grandfather just walked that way' (from left to right).I was having a really rough night a few weeks ago, and I was hoping for my Gramps to help me (all four of my grandparents are deceased, but I feel particularly close to my Gramps). Within seconds, I felt someone holding my hand. On New Years Eve, I was out to dinner and I was just thinking of him for a second. I looked up and saw his face in front of me for about a half a second.
There's absolutely something in our house too: I've felt someone touching my back when no one was home. Our screen door locks from the inside by itself. And ok...this is kind of gross...but I have to share it... one of our cats had two accidents outside of the box. I witnessed this first and DH didn't believe me until it happened to him. I saw (and heard) her peeing in the corner, and when I went over to clean it up, there was NOTHING THERE. Like I said, I told DH, he didn't believe me, and then the EXACT same thing happened to him... saw it and heard it coming out...NO wetness. We've had our television turn on in the middle of the night, coughing noises in the basement when no one is home...
I think people think I'm slightly insane, but I just feel very in touch with the other side, and I'm not afraid of the spirits at all.
