DH and i were walking into our apt building last night and right in between the two front doors somebody's dog left a rank nasty pile of poo. this morning, it was still there, albeit smushed down by some unfortunates. I am one of 4 peope in the building who have a dog, but I have a suspicion on who it is based on the size (lol). I dont want people to think it was my dog but I'm really friggin pissed about it. Should I post one of those passive aggressive signs on the elevator, like hey nasty neighbor, thanks for leaving a pile of poop for all of us to step in? what would you do?

Yes, but only if you make it funny. People don't think you're as much of a d!ck if you're funny.
And by the way, that's really nasty. Who lets their dog crap right in front of the front doors and then to top it off doesn't clean it?

I would DEF post a note in the elevator or on a bulletin board! That's GROSS and people without dogs might start to complain and make problems for people who take care of their business like you. I wouldn't single anyone out since I've seen REALLY small dogs leave REALLY big poops but DEF leave a note!
