hey ladies me and fh are cutting eachothers throat over the guest list

how many people did you invite vs. how many people showed up?

Invited around 200 and the final number was 152 I think, including the vendors and all the guests that MY guests invited. It would have been around 132 but we literally had about 20 people added on by our guests. We had the room so we didn't bother saying no.

Invited: 165
Showed up: 115 (plus me and DH = 117)

but it really depends on the person ... you might have 35% no's, or you might have 5% no's

I think we invited like 220 and had 165 - we invited everyone with guest and almost all of the single people didn't bring a guest.

Invited - 300
Came - 220 (under our minimum) including vendors and us

We were VERY surprised on some people who didn't come and VERY surprised with people who did come. DH's family though is a bunch of a-holes because they just didn't let anyone know until we called them 100 times and found out a week before the wedding that most weren't coming so we couldn't invite others that we wanted to until the week of the wedding. We also invited a lot of OOT guests (DH's family) which were the no's.

Minimum was 160.

We invited around 220 and exactly 160 showed up.

Invited like 230-240ish? Can't remember

Had 190 attend, 175 was our minimum (approx 15 people were kids/vendors) so we just made it.

Had like 1 person cancel a few days before and 2 no-shows

i believe the number was up to 215, and icluding us and the bridal party we payed for 163.

I wouldn't - friends and locals still have reasons to reply no. One friend forgot and booked something else, a few others just declined and never gave an answer.
