Hawaiian Honeymooners

Hi Ladies! I'm in the process of booking my Hawaiian honeymoon and I am hoping that you can all help me.

Me and FH are definitely going to do Maui, but we are unsure which other island to select. I heard Kauai is beautiful, but, not much to do.

I would appreciate it soooooo much if you ladies can advise me on what second island to pick.

Also, for those ladies who went to Kauai, how were the beaches and did you find yourself bored? Is Kauai's weather dreary?

My honeymoon will be in October....

Thank you sooooo much ladies. I'm so stuck.

Hi!

Kauai IS beautiful and there is A LOT to do, but there's no nightlife. Everything shuts down by 9pm pretty much. There a TON of daytime activities though, like kayaking, hiking, etc.

Re: Hawaiian Honeymooners

I did a cruise so i was only on each island for a day or two ... but I loved both maui (my favorite) and kauai (second fave). we didn't stay on the island at night though so i can't say anything about the nightlife. during the day, there were a bunch of options though.

we ended up going bike riding down the volcano in kauai ... it was a little scary but sooo fun (and not too hard since it was mostly downhill)

Re: Hawaiian Honeymooners

I loved Kauai because it was so relaxing and gorgeous. We did 5 nights and that was plenty. If we wanted nightlight we just stayed out at the hotel bar.

We did a helicopter and a kayak/hike excursion too.

I definitely recommend the Hyatt in Kauai!

I have pics in my review- let me know if you want more info.
