Awww thanks ladies!! The vet did a urinalysis and he has an infection and crystallization in his urine. He said that the crystallization could be froma kidney stone (

) or the infection. We have to pick up antibiotics and retest in 2 weeks! Cross your fingers that it's just the infection and not a stone! The weird thing is he is acting TOTALLY normal! Playing, eating, drinking and just being his awesome lovable self!

Dogs have such a high threshold for pain its amazing...

poor puppy! i hope it's just a uti. good for you for calling the vet right when you noticed it though--the fact that Louis is still playing around like normal is def. a good sign!

glad he's feeling better Lauren!! Hug them and squeeze them both - we just found out that our (I still consider him my dog.. even if I don't live home anymore) Brandon has advanced cancer throughout his lungs. We go to a Vett in East Hampton that practices alternative herbal meds... so we've got him on those for now. so sad
