Hot Yoga

I am thinking about trying hot yoga. Any opinions or experiences? Thanks!

Re: Hot Yoga

love it.
takes one or two sessions to get used to it (you get dizzy and/or nauseous at first) but once you get used to it, there's nothing like it. feel amazing afterwards.

Re: Hot Yoga

Tried it once last year, I wanted to die. I have done Pilates for a couple years but the heat was intense. I bought an unlimited month membership for CHEAP on Groupon so I am gonna start going this week.

Re: Hot Yoga

i went one time... probably should've given it a second or third try but...

it was so horrible. one of the girls i went with got sick.

i felt like i was going to die and literally went home and filled the bath tub with ice water and sat in it.

Re: Hot Yoga

I am going to have to think this through then. I had been doing kickboxing, using a bag and I hurt my knees. I need to find some sort of exercise that won't hurt my knees too much. Any suggestions would be awesome!

Re: Hot Yoga

you will never know unless you try - and i think it's absolutely worth it to give it a shot. but you have to be committed to giving it at least 2 classes and go in knowing that the first time is going to suck. in the end - so worth it. i have a bad back and bad knees and never felt better than i did after going regularly to hot yoga. wish i could still do it! (i'm preg so obv it's a no-no).

Re: Hot Yoga

HATE IT. I went and thought I was going to die. I don't love the heat as it is but I was just completely uncomfortable the entire time and thought I was going to barf. I know a lot of people like it though!!
