House Hunting Question

We are starting to look for houses but I am wondering....how long did you look before you bought your home?

Re: House Hunting Question

i just started stalking listingbook.com

my real estate agent set me up with it and put in the areas and school districts we wanted...so every day i would just stalk the crap out of it!!

the house we bought was only the second house we looked at.

Thanks! Can anyone sign up for listing book or do you need a real estate agent to do it for you? We have been looking online but are still up in the area about where, ie Queens, Westchester or even...ek New Jersey!

Our realtor set us up with listingbook- not sure if you can sign up yourself. We looked at 100 houses ( no exaggeration!) from January to April. Our house was one of the last we saw.

Re: House Hunting Question

about 13 months............. it was a nightmare!!! we lost 3 houses in the process due to under bidding & not moving fast enough to place an offer. we are currently waiting for the phone call from our lawyer to get our closing date.
