how do u physically know ur drunk?

for me first sign is my hearing goes down and everything becomes background noise but very loud one. then my lips go numb. after that I become SUPER friendly, energetic and won't shut up - I talk to everyone and anybody about anything LOL. at this point DH usually goes ' yup ur drunk.... ' LOL

According to DH I have a 'drunk face'...

As far as the way I act- alcohol or none I talk to everyone and don't shut up as it is! So I guess people could mistake me for drunk on a daily basis!

First sign- red cheeks. Though that could be anything from embarassed to hot to drunk. Second sign- drunk eyes. My eyes look like a just smoked a joint. Third sign- I can't feel my teeth. That's when I *hopefully* stop drinking and put myself into a cab. If I don't stop right then and there, I start to not remember doing things.

ETA: Case in point... red cheeks, drunk eyes, though I think I could still feel my teeth at this point.

I start to walk really crooked...I also lose my filter and say anything that comes to mind.

i dont think i have a specific outward quality that others can see... just something i know... im pretty amazing at hiding my drunkeness though... even my closest friends can barely tell

By the time my teeth turn red around my 3rd glass of wine, DH calls me 'red tooth' and I'm usually drunk by then

Other than that, I kind of get that fuzzy feeling where you're not all there, kind of tingly.

I first start to feel the effects in my knees. They go weak! It's so funny because I'll do a little dance in my head and sing to myself, 'YAY I'm buzzed!'

some stumbling, VERY chatty, and what my cousin calls 'wonk eye'...and you can pretty much dare me to do anything and I'll do it!
