I cannot believe what I just read. Both the situation for the brides and the giant LIE that was told to brides is just HORRIFIC!!!!!!

The whole thing is really crazy.

I booked with a florist who was one woman who works out of her home and does it kinda as a hobby that I met at a bridal expo the February before my wedding. It never even occurred to me that she wouldn't show up. My final product was just so-so, but the price was right (it was well under $1k) and she definitely showed up.

I can understand a businesswoman getting in over her head, but not to have a backup plan? She's gonna go bankrupt with these lawsuits way faster than jumping ship would help her recover.

I feel so bad for these brides. No one needs this kind of stress just before their wedding!!

I feel sooo bad for them, I cannot believe the effed up sh!t that she has pulled on these girls, I hope they all take her to court.

10 days before our wedding I hated our florist and started thinking they wouldn't deliver our flowers the day of because of a fight I had with them, but they showed with some crappy flowers

I can't believe it. I've been quiet about it because I wanted to hear for sure what was going on, but this is just ridiculous. My florist was a one-man company, but he knew better than to screw me over.........he's my oldest friend, and my mother's BFF's son. So there would be no running from me.

It's crazy! I haven't checked out any other board other than the NW board in a while... I was shocked when I wandered over to BHB today! I feel so bad for those girls.

If this vendor was a decent person, which from what I read doesn't have her sh!t together, she would arrange for another florist to take over her clients.

I do feel absolutely horrible for these girls. I can't imagine the stress they are going through right now.

I posted what I have, it's not much but ya never know maybe it will be what someone needs! I feel so bad for these girls.

ITA! I cannot believe the shiz I'm reading!

I think the worst part of the whole thing is that she lied about her daughter needing serious surgery ... swindle me/have a mental breakdown/be on the run, but don't be so disgusting as to lie about something like that.

I honestly have no idea what I would do in these girls' positions ... I feel horrible for them!

I just read about that....that is truly horrible. Those poor brides to be. I thought it was when someone said that she couldn't contact brides because their numbers were in her cell phone and it was destroyed - like what vendor wouldn't have phone numbers on contracts.

I'm so sorry for everyone having to deal with this. Terrible, terrible, terrible

I know!!! BIL/FSIL are booked with her for next May. At least they have time to get someone new, but now they're out that money at least for now!
