Sleighbells bling: Neiman Marcus debuts $15,000 gingerbread 'Christmas Book'

At this price, you may want to live in the gingerbread house that Neiman Marcus is hawking in its Christmas Book.

The $15,000 creation would make Willy Wonka jealous, with 381 pounds of gingerbread, 571 pounds of royal icing and thousands of lollipops, cookies and gumdrops.

Created by Dylan's Candy Bar, it stands more than six feet high and is among the most decadent of the gifts on offer from the luxury retailer.

Though there are goodies that sell for as little as $15, others are far more extravagant - like a privately commissioned swimming pool art installation by Dale Chihuly with a $1.5 million pricetag.

The 163-page catalog includes a romantic getaway on a luxury yacht for $250,000, a Leica M9-NM camera for $17,500 and his-and-her charm bracelets for $248,000.

Looking for something a bit cheaper? You can splurge on a ukulele hand made from a split gourd. Cost: $6,000.

For the first time in 84 years, the Christmas Book will be available on the iPad, and customers can order their wishlist online.
