If you only changed name with social security....

I only changed name with social security---I did this right after wedding but had to wait to change license and passport because we had a number of flights planned in my maiden name.

It is now BACKFIRING on me. My company decided to do a RANDOM I-9 audit (Employment Eligibility Form) of selected employees and OF COURSE I was randomly selected.

So now I'm getting hounded by HR. I finally sent the form out for my passport this morning and there is no way it will be here in time for the deadline. I was an idiot, but never could have imagined this would happen. But I had flights booked for awhile now so didn't change it. Grrrrr...

Interesting! I didn't change my license and passport for the same reasons and STILL can't since I now booked new trips under my maiden name. Here's hoping this doesn't happen!
