Interview Follow Up

I'm on the fence about sending a letter to a place I interviewed with. Can you look it over and see if it sounds okay? and would you send a letter like this?

Dear Mr. XXXX,
I wanted to thank you for meeting with me to discuss the position of XXX. I enjoyed our conversation and I am excited about the possibility of joining your team.
I feel I could be a real asset to the team as all my past positions required great attention to detail and accuracy. I have enjoyed working in a fast pace environment and being on my feet all day.
I am very interested in working for you and look forward to hearing from you once the final decisions are made regarding this position. Please feel free to contact me at anytime if further information is needed. My cell phone number is (XXX)XXX-XXXX

sounds good to me ...

only thing i'd maybe change is 'I am very interested in working for you' .... i'd change it to 'I am very interested in working for [company_name]'

If there are specific things you talked about, reference them in the thank you letter so it doesn't sound so generic. I'm a recruiter and that always impresses me.

Is it okay to include that if i wasnt chosen for the position that I hope they keep my information on file for future opportunities?

If you aren't chosen, I would send a quick email once you find out, once again thanking him for his time to interview you and to keep you in mind for any future positions that may come up. I would wait until you hear a yes or no before sending that note.
