Jamaica: Couples vs. Sandals

Just wanted everyone's opinion who may have gone to a Couples and Sandals resort...

I've been to every Sandals in Jamaica ('cept Negril)... and we love them... went to Sandals in St. Lucia for our HM... and I've been to Antigua & Bahamas too..

For our Anniversary, I'm giving DH (and me!) a trip to Jamaica..... going in May... tickets booked.. Now it's deciding on hotel.

Sandals Royal Caribbean is the one we're looking at...price is OK - with in the budget I set.

BUT... starting in October, I will be able to get a very nice rate for the Couples resorts (cheaper than the Sandals). I don't mind paying the Sandals rate as I know what I'm going to be getting... and the only thing I know about Couples is what they want the TA's to know..

Since I've never been to any of the Couples, I'm curious what ya'll think... ??

I think I may have talked to you about sandals. We went to the royal plantation in Jamaica and LOVED it. It was very peaceful and quiet...but attentive and so nice.

Re: Jamaica: Couples vs. Sandals

Yes! We did!! Royal Plantion is to die for!!!
I love Sandals... so I'm leaning towards that (as it's what I know...)

but the price difference is enough that I'd consider Couples, and would love to know what people who have been..

Its all inclusive too... but I'm curious as to any differences..
