Labor Day Weekend Plans?!!

What are all you lovely ladies doing this labor day weekend?


I am leaving work at 3 and DH and I are taking a much needed mini-vacation to Newport, RI. I am sooo excited bc its been a long stressful summer and I really need a little getaway!!

Hopefully hurricane earl doesnt mess up our plans!!

Our good friend is getting married at the mansion at Dowling on Sunday so we have the rehearsal dinner saturday and then the wedding sunday...looking forward to it!!! So glad the weather will be nice for them!

well tonight we are going to our friends house
and sunday my aunt is having a bbq

but nothing crazy and im totally digging it!

Tomorrow we have bach parties for a wedding we are in next month. The boys are doing a BBQ and the girls are going to the 80s prom! I gotta get me some leg warmers!

Sunday I will be relaxing and getting ready for school! Same with Monday!

DH and I got to CT every Labor Day to hang out with my two best friends and their husbands! We're leaving bright and early (7 am) tomorrow morning. They have a great house and pool and we ALWAYS have the best time! I cannot wait.

Tomrrow we're BBQ-ing. The boys are playing golf on Sunday and the girls and I are hanging by the pool!

Tomorrow- movies and dinner, then going somewhere for drinks
Sunday- DH is golfing, then we're having a BBQ
Monday- relaxing

Tonight - DH is making me dinner I was complaining that I'm tired of making the same old dinners all the time, so he said since he was working from home today, he'd cook tonight

Tomorrow - re-tiling our kitchen......can't wait!

Sunday - we have a wedding at Chateau Briand for an old co-worker

Monday - bbq at IL's house

it's my last weekend of not having to work until... probably some time in october!

the only firm plans in my schedule involve DH watching the Notre Dame opener tomorrow at 3:30. awful time.

other than that, we have plans to g2g with his BFF/wife, but not sure when yet. we have plans to go out east Sunday, but I might push that to monday.


i'm really bummed that we aren't really gonna get much of a hurricane. I'm weather obsessed and i lovvvve hurricanes (but obv not the devastation they can cause).

Today - we're getting out of work early so I'm going to make some decorations for Eid (the end of Ramadan) and decorate the apartment a little before he gets home. Most likely a night in...someone loaned me 'Milk' and we'll probably watch that.

Saturday - I'm fasting again with DH. Last Sunday was successful!

Saturday night - Going to see STP at Jones Beach.

Sunday - Consignment stores with a couple of lovely ladies.

Monday - No plans yet...thinking about painting the kitchen.

Tonight- hanging in... it'll prob be too nasty out to do much of anything... totally feel bad for today's brides

Tomorrow- massive food shopping for our labor day party and possibly a nice motorcycle ride with DH somewhere

Sun- parrrrtayyyy at our house! woohooo

Mon- prob nursin a hangover and beachin it if the beaches havent all been destroyed by earl

Today- washing the dogs n tub
then SIL and BIL are coming over

Tomorrow- some running around and RELAXIN... prob play Rock Band with the hubby

Sunday- Hopefully more relaxin

Monday- not sure yet

Since I didnt relax much during my vaca I want to do it now before going back to wrok

Tonight: Staying in..away from the hurricane! Possibly visiting my grandma in the hospital if the weather isnt too bad

Tomorrow: Long run in the morning, food shopping, then relaxing at home with DH

Sunday: Lori's wedding!!!

Monday: Relaxing before the first day of school!

Tomorrow: Errands...home depot, benjamin moore store and bed, bath and beyond (only if there is enough time )

Sunday: BBQ at a friends house

Monday: Our First Anniversary!! We will probably just go out to dinner since our gift to each other is a cruise that we are going on in October.

Today/Tonight - working on thesis sources for school that starts next week and then DH & I are gonna pig out with some ice cream on the couch later! Very excited lol.

Tomorrow - working in the morning, running errands with DH and finishing cleaning up our apartment, then we're hosting a bigggg poker game at our place! Like, 20 people... so wish us luck! I hope one of us wins! Either way, the losers table is turning into a good ol' fashioned beer pong tournament so it should be fun!

Monday - working, then more work on my thesis and maybe another bbq
