Last Minute Vacation/Cruise?
We would like to go away around September 18th, on a cruise to Bermuda, or a shorter more local trip (i.e. Block Island, Newport, Jersey Shore).Does anyone have recommendations for a cheap last minute cruise website?
Or ideas about a cheap trip around here, where it would still be beachy in mid-late September?

Re: Last Minute Vacation/Cruise?
try kayak.com, it works like a search engine and you can compare it to other sites.

We're actually going on a cruise to Bermuda in September. I just looked and they still have rooms available for $499 per person. It leaves from Jersey. It's September 25-30 and it's on Royal Caribbean.

I was looking at that, but there are only interior rooms at this point. DH would be too claustrophobic

Re: Last Minute Vacation/Cruise?
I think there is literally a site calledlastminutetravel.com (I know they have a cruise section too but don't know if it's the same site or not
also expedia and travelocity both have last minute sections. .

Honestly I've stayed in both outside rooms with a view and interior rooms and there really isn't much of a difference, especially for the small amount of time that you are actually in the room (for us basically sleeping and getting ready). Of course you know your DH better than I do

I am going to cape cod in September and got a really great rate at a bed and breakfast. It's only $130 a night with a full course breakfast and the owners will drive you places if you want to go to a restaurant or to the the pier so you won;t have to pay for parking. They also give a free tour of the town. I can't wait...I am counting the days. If you want more info fm me.
