Last Name Change

Hi Ladies,
I'd like to officially change my last name this week. How do I go about doing this?? I am clueless and don't know where to begin!

I went to SS, then the DMV (to change my license and title). After, I went to my banks. As for insurances, I called them or changed them online.

go to the SS office first. then to the DMV. you don't have to wait to go to the DMV until you get your new SS card. just bring your original marriage certificate.
then go to the banks and call insurance and credit card companies.
make sure to bring your new temporary DMV id and your original marriage license to everything
