Leftover invitations

What did you do with the leftover invitations? We have about 30 leftover, plus response cards, inner and outer envelopes. I put 5 complete invitations aside for the videographer, scrapbook, etc. Did you just throw them away?

Re: Leftover invitations

Do you really need to save the extra invitations? Space is an issue in our apartment and I was wondering if we would ever need them again. I did put aside 5 of them. Thanks for your help!

Re: Leftover invitations

I cound not imagine what you would need the other 25 for. If you dont have a sentimental attachment to them and need the space for something else dispose of them.

Re: Leftover invitations

We framed one, and the others I have in a box with the rest of our wedding stuff. Eventuaaly I'm sure I'll get rid of them. I figure I could always use the envelopes for something!

Re: Leftover invitations

Me too ... I just can't seem to part with them, my leftover programs and my response cards. But I'm a sap anyway.
You don't need to save them ... if you don't want them anymore ... then discard them. Or if you can recycle the paper for crafts or something, that may make some use out of them!

Re: Leftover invitations

I hate to throw anything away, and I found that the vellum could be removed from mine easily, so I ended up making cards out of them. I also took the vellum off the leftover reply cards and found that they make nice matts for wallet size photos. Otherwise, I prob. would have used them for scrap paper after I'd removed some for a scrap book, made sure each family member/bridesmaid had one to keep, each vendor, and the hall.
