i don't think you can on the kindle. think it only works on the nook.

You can lend on the kindle. Not all books are lendable tho. Go into your amazon account and each book that you purchased is listed. if the book is lendable it will say so. Then you email the book to the person you are letting 'borrow' it. They will only have access to it for 2 weeks tho.
