Mattress Question
We are looking to buy a new mattress - there is a pretty substantial weight difference between DH and I - and is is a very restless sleeper.Any suggestions?? Honestly not to concerned about the price as long as we can get through a night in bed together LOL
Ok - No more then $1500...I lied LOL

Re: Mattress Question
Random because DH and I are headed to Macys after work to buy a bed during Columbus Day Sales! We are looking to spend about the same and I fell in love with a Simmons Beautyrest last time I was there. Stearns & Foster is great but too soft for me, I like a good hard bed.
Whatever you do, I know too many people (my parents included) that have had problems with Sleepys. Try the beds out at Macys this weekend!

Re: Mattress Question
I bought our mattress at Sleepys and they have a diagnostic bed that you lie down on and it suggests the best mattress for you. It was very cool and accurate.

Re: Mattress Question
We have a firm mattress from stearns & foster but I can't tell you exactly which one it is since every store calls them by a different name (it's a selling tactic). The firm is amazing, and I always hated firm mattresses! But with the king bed and it being firm, I don't even feel it when DH gets up in the morning. And I sleep more comfortably than ever before. We had a bob-o-pedic before and it got really, really saggy after about 3 years, and we had to put an egg crate on it. Not ideal, but it was ok with that.
I think our new mattress was over your price range but the bob one was under.

we did this as well... it suggested a firm for dh and a plush for me... we ended up going with a plush bc dh can pretty much sleep through anything, on anything...
We bought a simmons beautyrest - hamlet plush and its like heaven each and every night... we got it for $1200 on sale (king)... not sure what it is normally...

Agreed!!
They usually have columbus day sales as well. Plus you can get intrest free financing for 3 years with them.... also NEGOTIATE with them, they will throw stuff in (like pillows and stuff) and bargain the price down
ETA: We got a pillow top Kings Down, I think it was called. We were both tested to be more on the plush side. Me more than him but Sleepy's said that one would be perfect for us, and it is.
