My billboard!! LOL

Well girls, the infamous 'billboard' is up on my living room wall!!! We had it framed and picked it up on Saturday. For any brides-to-be reading this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GET ANYTHING BIGGER THAN A 20x24 -- TRUST ME, THAT'S BIG ENOUGH!!!

The billboard, for those who don't remember, is my wedding portrait that my wonderfully delirious husband insisted on getting in a 30x30!! Now that it's framed, it's now a 42x42!!!!

And the man who insisted on this monstrosity, was refusing to hang it up because it's 'too big'!!

The funniest thing was when we went to pick it up!! IT WOULDN'T FIT IN THE CAR!!! I was hysterical laughing watching him try to finagle something and cursing under his breath! I was so HAPPY he picked this out and not me!

He finally listens to me and puts the front seat down, so that now I have to look like a big chooch sitting all the way up w/no support behind me, but we didn't live far. We get home and now he CAN'T GET IT OUT OF THE CAR!!! Well, I almost peed in my pants and he wasn't too thrilled with me or the picture at that moment!! Our neighbors see him carrying this gigunda thing and say 'oh art work' and he mutters 'it's our wedding picture'!! I burst out laughing!

Now on to the hanging! More huffing and puffing and muttering on his end and finally he gets it up and stands back. I tell him 'ya know, I b**ched and moaned about it, but it doesn't look to bad now that it's up' and he looks at me with a big grin on his face and says -- are you all ready?

WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE 30X50!!!!!!

Take a picture of the hanging billboard - I wanna see!

(DH upped us from an 11x14 to a 16x16, and I'm afraid of that! I can't imagine a 30x30)

Before Shamma can start yelling at me (and Tammyjill also), I took a picture of it, but as you know, I don't have a computer at home! The next time I go up to my MIL's house, I'll scan it for you!!

I'm glad you guys are all laughing! Try living with this man!!

He was dead serious about the 30x50!!!! Can you imagine what size picture he's going to want of our child's first picture???!!

I married a nut!!! But he's my nut and I love him and his nuttiness!!!!

I couldn't even think of having a picture of me bigger than 8X10...so thats what we got...but I should have gotten a little bigger...

Yabbo, trust me, it's not me!!!

Actually the picture looks like something taken in Italy or Greece because it was taken in the back of the Sand Castle and they have these huge pillars, and the sky was turning like a blue/purple color. We actually don't look as big as I thought we were going to look. I don't look at me, I look at the scenery!!

Jen, good news! Joe told me that his cousin is going to have his friend hook us up with the laptop, so don't worry, it will be up and running sometime in the near future!! I have to do something because there is no way I can go w/o LIW and my email while I'm out on maternity leave!!!!
