My First Post & Patken Girls!

Hi Ladies,

It's so exciting to now be posting in the Newlywed thread, very fun!! Congrats to everyone!

I just had a quick question for anyone who used Patken for their photography...when did you get your proofs?? Maybe I'm just anxious to see them, but John our photographer told us 2-3 weeks at our wedding which was July 10th and this Saturday will be 4. It's not a huge deal, but they haven't called me yet so just wondering, thanks!!! :)

We picked up our proofs about 3-4 weeks after the wedding.

I was told 4-6 but they were ready in like 3 if I remember correctly. I would give them a call. While I am so happy with my pictures after the wedding was over I feel like they slacked a bit on calling me when things were ready. Not really a big deal though, all my pics were perfect and everything was exactly how I wanted.

I also used patken and my wedding was october 3rd. I was also wondering when proofs were ready. Also do they post them online and also give you the hard copies? When would thank you cards be available? I have not yet heard from them but it has not even been 2 weeks yet. I am patiently waitinng for my proofs:

Me too!!! I called 3 weeks ago - they said within the next two weeks. Then I called on the Fri of the 2nd week - another week. Then I called this past Fri and they said definitly Mon or Tues of this week W T F?????

I have to say overall their customer service has not been great. Our proofs are nice but I'm not in LOVE with them, by any means. I just saw our one minute wedding trailer and they spelled my husband's name wrong!! I called and they said everything will be fixed, but seriously? I told them to make sure its corrected for the albums as well, whch we havent done yet, but I will def remind them when we meet. I also just read another post that said I need to request the CD of pics which takes up to 6 months after the wedding!!

I picked up my proofs about 2 1/2 weeks after! And the next day they were on-line. Just got called yesterday that my thank-yous and other pics that we ordered were ready to be picked up!

We called again on Fri and they said we could pick them up Sat. DH drove from Baldwin to Lindenhurst on his lunch break. I didn't realize the final payment was due when we pick up the proofs so they didn't give them to us!! You would think after I spoke to someone there 6 times in the past 2 months they might have reminded us. Now I have to pick them up from Mineola on Tues. So annoying!!
