Re: My wedding toasting flutes are tarnished

You need a special silver cleaner. Or you can get a large pot line that with tin foil, fill it with boiling water add in salt and dish soap. That is a home made silver cleaner that should make them like new again.

Re: My wedding toasting flutes are tarnished

Hi Deanna, also I keep some of those Tarnish-free paper strips in my jewelry box, I have a lot of nice silver and I can't be bothered cleaning it all the time - I'm lazy. They do a pretty good job of keeping things tarnish free, you should get some and hide them in your cabinet!!!!

This works as wella s the silver cleaner? I am going to try it if it does. We got a lot of silver from Pete's aunt and its all tarnished really badly. I havent used it because keep forgetting the silver cleaner.

Can you use any dish soap?

Re: My wedding toasting flutes are tarnished

YOu can use silver cleaner or Barkeepers friend, which is what I use on my stainless steel pots.

i prefer the Barkeepers friend, it works faster and I think it does a nicer job!
