I....won a NAACP writing contest in the 4th grade...my parents were the proudest and only white people at the award ceremony.

I'm proud of the fact that I planned an entire wedding without killing my MIL!

O, and DEF working my a$$ off at WLIR to get to Q104...my SIL just told me I'm a celebrity for knowing Jodi Vale...so I guess I'll say that is my proudest thing in my past...

Within a 2 year span from '05- '07 I lost 80lbs all by myself with a healthier diet and exercise only - no surgery, no WW, nothing. And I kept most of it off since then (except for a little 'happy weight' when I met DH lol) People see old pictures and can't believe I'm the same person.

I was in the Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade! I tried out for a special cheerleading team and made it!

I used to Irish step dance in the St. Patty's Day parade and we won every year I was in it!

when i graduated with my master's i was award the nasw (national association of social worker's) ny chapter student social worker of the year

that was pretty cool!

In grad school, I was one of four people to be chosen on a national research team that traveled across the country and interviewed college students about their lives. About 75% of the students I interviewed cried. My colleagues jokingly called me the Barbara Walters of student affairs .

I went to the Playboy mansion for Halloween of 2009 and swam in the grotto when the party was over.

I did a combined bachelors/masters program and finished college in 5 years instead of 6 or more. A lot of people do that though, so it's not that special.
