Newly Wed Question of the Day

Ok since the weather has been so crazy I have a weather related QOD.

Do you guys have a disaster plan?

DH and I have batteries and a radio, candles, flashlights and a first aid kit. No food or water stored though.

Honestly if I could I would keep an entire bunker stocked, but I have insane 2012 fears.

No we dont have anything ready. I do have candles and flashlights in the house but thats it. Nothing packed and ready to go.

Nope nothing, obviously I have candles and flashlights in case of an outage. DH would love to have a whole bunker of stuff though

Yup...batteries, a hand-crank radio, cat carriers assembled, cans of cat food for the kitties, flashlights, candles, matches. It's all in our garage.

Nope...we have candles but that's it...no flashlights.

Our building has all it's power supply underground and generators so if the area ever goes out, we still will have power (happened during the tornado in September).

DH has the fear of 2012 too but I just don't think it's going to happen. Although if these natural disasters keep up, I might change my mind on that.

If I had the $ and the space I would start doing food storage. But this reminded me that I need a mini emergency kit for our new place.

Other than panic? Nope. We have candles and flashlights but that's more for decoration and camping than for an emergency.

we have some small things (flashlights and whatnot) but it's all over the house, not in one convenient location.

i have my safe with all my important documents inside though ... so that sort of counts, right?

We have candles and flashlights for the humans...

but we have portable crates for the dogs, carriers for the cats....spare dog food in the trunk of my car all the time (a phobia that I'll run out of food for them)... and I have all of their medical records in my glovebox in case of an emergency...

So we have a disaster plan for the furbabies!
