I was wondering the same thing, so I googled Chinese auction. LOL According to Wikipedia, a Chinese auction works by the participants getting a certain number of raffle tickets. You could then chose the raffles for which prize or prizes you want to enter by putting some or all of your tickets in the bowl for particular prize(s). So, if you really want a particular prize, you can put all of your tickets in the bowl for that prize, or you can divide your tickets among several prizes.

Of course, I defer to Cindy and the other girls directly involved in the planning in case I am mistaken.

See, that's what I was thinking...I'd love to win either, but even though I know I'm never going to REALLY wear it again, I don't know if I could bring myself to be wading in water or laying in the grass and stuff and really destroy the dress, you know?

If I am lucky enough to win a TTD session, I am going to david's bridal and buying a $99 version of my dress! Aside from the fact that my dress wont even fit right now, I would not risk ruining it even though I know it will never be worn again.
