~ NW QOTD: Sat. 10/16 ~

In honor of the Yankees come back last night.....today's QOTD is about sports.


Do you and/or DH watch sports? If so, which ones? What are your favorite teams to root for?

I used to hate sports (well i'm still not the biggest fan) but DH is really into football and baseball. When we were dating I wanted to be a good girlfriend so I watched with him. I actually learned about football (to me it was a foreign language). So since I've been with DH I'm a little more into sports, but he's a diehard fan. He roots for the NY Giants and NY Yankees.

I like buying pink giants and yankee stuff. I also like football for the wings He's more into the actual game!

we were both born mets fans.


dh enjoys sports but we have a rule during football season-only one game per day. its more my rule bc I love regular tv and theres always a football game on.
hes a Giants fan.

We go to Islanders game every year. I usually get him tickets for his bday. Last year was the first year they actually won a game we saw.

DH and I are the most unknowledgeable people when it comes to sports. We were meant to be .

We agree on Mets and Rangers.

Basketball is stupid.

Football...I'm Cowboys, he's Giants. Ugh!

And we both enjoy NASCAR, F1, and BMX.

I personally ADORE the Olympics. Him not as much.

baseball - Mets!

pro football - Giants

college football - Penn State (we both went there)


DH is also an islanders fan but i don't really care that much about hockey.

we both only like watching sports in person,not much of sports fanatics .............the only sport he HAS to watch is soccer

We watch hockey together. I love going to games! He converted me into a Penguins fan (he's from Pittsburgh) but I'll always love my Isles.

We are both YANKEES fans since birth!awesome game last night, but that is the way of the Yankees!!

We watch football, but he is a Giants fan and I've always been a Cowboys fan, so that is interesting!

We love watching basketball too. Sadly, we are Knicks fan.

We go to a few Knicks games throughout the year, and at least one baseball game.

We are huge NASCAR fans. We don't cheer for the same drivers but seem to dislike the same ones. It makes for some real interesting Sunday afternoons. We usually make it to at least one race a year but with the wedding, and my parents moving out of state, we just didn't have it in the budget. We are still strongly considering spending our anniversaries at the Daytona 500 though.

We both root for the Yankees. I sometimes call him Josh Jeter because of his love for Jeter and everything Yankees.

He watches other sports, including soccer. This was partially due to our honeymoon when Barcelona won the National Cup. We were there partying with the locals. Now follows a few teams. I watch a little.

DH loves the Yankees and I love the Mets.
He keeps trying to get me into football but its just not happening. I'd rather watch reality shows.

OH YES! We are crazy sports fanatics! We go to lots of Yankees,Giants & Islander games. We cant get enough.
