NWQOTD *~*~*August 2nd*~*~*

Were there ever things that you and DH thought you would do more of once you were married? Do you actually do the things you spoke about? Or was it just wishful thinking?

DH and I did not live together before we were married. We would talk about once we did live together how we would always do more intimate things together, like sleep in the buff and have way more nookie

Now that we have been married for almost 2 months, there are always things that come up. By the time I get home, make dinner, eat, clean up, do some chores and shower its already passed 10pm. We barely have time to watch ½ of tv before i start to pass out.

Needless to say, i think we have only slept in the buff like, once, and we still have the same amount of nookie as before, because of the aforementioned stupid chores

Oh well, I guess i should tell DH to make more money so we can hire a maid and i can be his sex slave

well we def talked about taking a lot more trips on the weekends etc but with the doggies, it's still difficult even tho we don't have wedding appointments anymore. We said we were going to save more money when we got married butttt now that we are back to renovating the house, it's still not really accumulating.



eta: chores/responsibilities definitely zap the sex frequency. there is just soo much shiet to do

I said I would cook more, which I do, and we would finally have time for each other.

Well I do cook more and I clean. I have def taken on the wifely duties of the house but more time for each other just doesn't happen. I get home, clean, make dinner, eat, do some chores whatever they may be, clean up from dinner, and then finally sit down. It's usually 8/830 by the time I sit down so that doesn't happen for us. I just want to lay down and he wants to grab on my boobies!

We definitely do more we went to the 311 concert, Yankees Game, etc every weekend is something new and exciting! But we do things separately as well

omg we had all these plans to do outdoorsy stuff for the summer like going to the zoo, the wineries, outlet shopping, hiking, etc and we yet still have to do one of those. we've been so busy slowly trying to move into the apt and cleaning it up that we haven't had the time to do this and it's making me mad b/c it's already AUGUST!

However, my birthday is coming up on Friday and one of my yearly goals will be to get more organized with food shopping, thereby making it easier to cook (when you have food in the fridge!)... so here hoping!

yeah, I said the same thing. I was determined to cook every meal, but I have no motivation to do so lol
